Hardwood Floor Refinishing
1,000 Sq Ft. Ranch Home
Flooring: Oak throughout with the exception of bathroom (ceramic) and kitchen (pine)
Challenges: Dark stains throughout, damaged planks
Solution: We recommended a darker stain to blend dark spots that couldn’t be 100% removed without causing further damage. We presented color options to the customer and landed on the perfect color.
During the initial consult-estimate, we discovered the original pine floor underneath subflooring. Customer was thrilled to learn the original pine floor was underneath subflooring and could be restored.

The 3rd bedroom (office) original oak flooring had been covered in old vinyl, carpet, and luxury vinyl throughout the years. Water damage can be seen in the lower right-hand corner.
The old glue residue was removed during the sanding process, damaged planks repaired and original oak restored
